Detentions in Jones Town

FOLLOWING last week murders and shootings in Jones Town, the police in West Kingston detained more than 30 men and took them in for questioning in a massive operation mounted yesterday.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) had few details last night about the detentions, and whether any charges had been laid, though radio reports by RJR quoted area commander Delroy Hewitt as saying some of the men caught in the dragnet were on the police's wanted list....
