Prisoners recaptured in Montego Bay, Trelawny

THE MONTEGO Bay police have recaptured three more of the 15 prisoners who went missing from the Clark's Town Police Station lock-up in Trelawny on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Paul Bernard said that Glenroy Wright, also known as 'Prince' of Lakes Pen, St. Catherine, was held on the busy Harbour Street in Montego Bay on Tuesday night.

The names of the other two prisoners, who were recaptured in Bounty Hall, Trelawny, have been withheld by police as they are to face identification parades as suspects in crimes committed in the parish since their escape.

ADDITIONAL CHARGE

Wright, who was awaiting trial on a charge of receiving stolen property, is facing an additional charge of escaping police custody. He was the second prisoner to be recaptured since the incident.
