TWO men are facing several drug-related charges in the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate's Court after they were allegedly being found in possession of 775 pounds of ganja along the Bull Bay Main Road in St Andrew last Friday.
The men - Donovan Drummond, alias "No Face", of 3 Marverly Avenue, Kingston 10 and Errol Howie of Highgate, Above Rocks, St Catherine, have both been charged with possession of ganja, dealing in ganja, trafficking in ganja, taking steps to export ganja and conspiracy.
Both men have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to return to court on April 6 when their case will again be mentioned.
According to court documents, acting on information that Chin and Drummond were last Friday going to St Thomas to receive drugs, the Narcotics Police carried out an operation along the Bull Bay main road in effort to intercept both men.
According to the court documents, during the operation a pearl white Lexus motor car was seen escorting a mini-bus.
The motor car was said to be driven by Chin, with another man known only as "Jagga" and "Shortman" sitting in the passenger seat...
