Alleged fugitive held in Higgins Town

A man who the police said is wanted in the United States of America on a number of charges, was yesterday apprehended by members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team in Higgins Town, Fletchers Land, St Ann.

He was identified as Omar Donovan Tracey, 19, a resident of Higgins Town. The police said that at about 7:15 am, an operation was carried out in the Higgins Town area, during which Tracey was held at a house in the district.

According to the police, he is wanted in New Jersey on charges of murder, four counts of armed robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy.
