Malvo gets life

Kingston-born Lee Boyd Malvo has been sentenced to life imprisonment for his role in the notorious serial sniper killings that terrorised Washington D.C. for three weeks in 2002.
Last month Malvo was found guilty of the six murders he committed as a 17-year-old. He was earlier sentenced for killings that took place in Virginia.
He is to serve the sentences consecutively without parole.
