Two get life Sentences

The two men who were convicted last week of the murder of André Baker, labourer, of Spanish Town , St. Catherine, have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Mrs. Justice Carol Beswick ordered Thursday that the men, Omar Stewart, 30, otherwise called 'Chinaman', of St. Johns Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherine and André Ennis, 22, also called 'Taffus', of St. Johns Road, must serve 20 years before they are eligible for parole.
The Crown led evidence at the trial in the Home Circuit Court that on July 27, 2005, Baker was shot in the back of the head while he was walking along Westmore Drive, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
