New judge for Supreme Court

Master in Chambersat the Supreme Court, Christine McDonald, has been appointed a judge of the Supreme Court.

Registrar of the Supreme Court, Audrey Lindo, has been appointed Master in Chambers.

They were appointed last week by the newly appointed Judicial Service Commission.

Acted as Puisne Judge

Miss Justice McDonald has acted on several occasions since 2002 as a Puisne Judge.

The members of the Judicial Service Commission are Chief Justice Zaila McCalla, Mr. Justice Seymour Panton, President of the Court of Appeal, retired Court of Appeal Judge Donald Bingham, David Muirhead, Q.C., Daisy Coke, chairman of the Public Service Commission, and Rev. Dr. Roy Henry.

Mr. Muirhead replaces Ambassador Don Mills, while Mr. Justice Bingham replaces retired Court of Appeal Judge Martin Wright.
