Abducted teen found dead

Just five days after a teenager was killed in Westmoreland, sending shock waves through the parish, police there are investigating another youth's murder.

Shelly-Ann Gordon, a 14-year-old student of Frome Technical High School, was found dead in bushes near her home after she was abducted from her house at Hatfield in the parish on Sunday.

The principal and senior teachers from Gordon's school visited the crime scene yesterday and were visibly shaken by the sight.

"I knew her from she was at the primary level and she was an exceptional player who always showed an interest in getting a transfer to Manning's," said Audrey Thompson, Manning's netball coach.

Held at gunpoint

According to the teen's father, Prince Gordon, all four occupants were at the house at 9:30 Sunday night when a lone gunman entered the premises, held him up at gunpoint and demanded money.

"Me tell him say me only have $300, two $100 and two $50, and him take it."...
